But I would also say that you might want to read the books first. I love the show and the actors bring the characters brilliantly to life and I would highly recommend watching the show. I am glad that I decided to read the books before watching the show as there is definitely more in books that don’t get shown or explained in the same way in the show. I even read a whole series over about a week, something that I’ve not done for years! That series was the All Souls trilogy by Deborah Harkness, also known as the A Discovery of Witches series. All I wanted to read in January was fantasy. I think that it must have just been the mood that I was in.
